The American philosopher and author Ralph Waldo Emerson once said, “ The purpose of life is not to be happy. It is to be useful, to be honourable, to be compassionate, to have it make some difference that you have lived and lived well .” While we appreciate such words of wisdom, we rarely understand the true meaning of such words since we rarely try to follow them in our lives.
