National Startup Day



PM Narendra Modi yesterday declared 16th January as National Startup Day

We have 61,000 Startups today, but as we approach our 76th Independence day, I am sure we will cross 75,000 & I hope this 75 Week period of Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav will give us 75 Unicorns.

Building a strong entrepreneurship & tech ecosystem is the only way forward & is perhaps India’s best bet to become a world leader in the post covid era.

National Startup Day will be a constant reminder of this very fact! Let’s celebrate innovation, dedication & entrepreneurship.

Education is the key to create a truely inclusive society

 It was the year 1945, a boundary was demarcated along the 38th parallel and born were two nations North and South Korea. One undertook the path of an authoritarian regime education system of that country promoted worshipping of a leader, belief in tales and dogmas whereas, another country to efforts to impart to its citizens and equitable, inclusive and futuristic program of teaching their students. Presently, while one is grappling with gut-wrenching poverty and poor human development indicators, another one is a symbol of unbridled prosperity. मृत्युंजय

(दि.११-३-२०२२ म्हणजेच शंभूराजेंची पुण्यतिथी.... त्याबद्दल आदरांजली.लेख मोठा आहे पण,राजांबद्दल प्रत्येकाला माहीत असणे हे आपले कर्तव्य आहे.....)  इ.स.१६५७, तारीख १४ मे रोजी पुरंदर गडावर शंभू राजांचा जन्म झाला.त्यांच्या जीवनात सुरूवातीपासूनच अनेक अडचणी आल्या. दोन वर्षांचे असतानाच त्यांची आई सईबाईंचे निधन झाले. पण त्यानंतरही खचून न जाता त्यांनी अनेक शस्त्र व शास्त्र यांचा अभ्यास केला. तेरा वर्षापर्यंत त्यांना तेरा भाषा अवगत होत्या. शिवाय तलवारबाजी, घोडेस्वारी ,अनेक शस्त्रांत ते पारंगत होते. नवव्या वर्षी ते शिवरायांसोबत औरंगजेबाचे निमंत्रण स्वीकारून आग्रा येथे गेले. पण भर दरबारात अपमान झाल्याने शिवरायांनी बादशहाला भरदरबारात सुनावले. या संधीचा फायदा घेऊन बादशहाने शिवराय व शंभुराजे यांना नजरकैदेत ठेवले. पण शिवरायांनी युक्तीचा वापर करून कैदेतून सुटका करून घेत राजगड गाठला. पुढे शंभूराजेंचा पिलाजी शिर्के यांच्या कन्या येसूबाई यांच्याशी विवाह झाला. हळूहळू शंभुराजे मोठे होऊ लागले. रणनीती व युद्ध कलेत पारंगत झाले.                       ...
